Tools For Thought:  The Critical Thinking Consortium
“An online collection of over 80 lessons adaptable for any grade and subject. Each lesson is designed to help teachers infuse critical thinking tools frequently and easily into daily instruction with the aim to develop student ability to think, communicate and act.”
Our Hidden Heroes:  The Critical Thinking Consortium

“The goal of the Our Hidden Heroes program is to nurture social and personal responsibility. Students in grades one through eight learn that small things can make a big difference and that each of them can impact the world, one person, one family, one community at a time. They learn that the world is populated by many more positive than negative role models; many more hidden heroes than hidden crooks. Hidden heroes are ordinary people who are extraordinary role models.  They are people who have much to teach us by the way they lead their lives, consistently doing small positive things that other ordinary people could do in similar circumstances—actions that benefit their own lives and those of others.
